Year 1 - Shophouse (Mood Box)

Design Project: ShopHouse (Mood Box)

The given task was to design a shophouse for our chosen designer. It should be a place where he can live and at the same time work and showcase his works.

The idea that I was using was to create a space that has the 3D-2D effect by playing with vertical and horizontal planes to create interesting spaces and openings. I also wanted to create a small gallery that showcases Horvarth's works. The reason I chose chequered was to further enhance the 3D-2D effect as it allows stronger visual tricks.
